The striking contrast that blends harmoniously in the financial capital – Mumbai that has some ancient history clearly visible at the Elephanta or Gharapuri that is a beautiful Shiva temple and the Buddhist caves at Kanheri.

The most beautiful caves and frescos are found in Ellora and Ajanta near, Aurangabad close to Mumbai.
